Triall to advance blockchain in clinical trials with Mayo Clinic

Triall has entered into collaboration with researchers at the Mayo Clinic who will onboard Triall's blockchain-integrated eClinical platform into a multi-center pulmonary arterial hypertension trial.

Triall and Mayo Clinic

With great excitement, we’d like to share that Triall has entered into collaboration with researchers at the Mayo Clinic, one of the leading medical centers in the world (and consistently ranked as the number 1 hospital in the US).

Mayo Clinic will onboard Triall's blockchain-integrated eClinical platform into a multi-center Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension trial that includes 10 researchsites and 500+ patients across the United States.

The eClinical solutions of Triall will support Mayo Clinic in all core trial activities, including data capture, document management, study monitoring, and eConsent.

Moreover, the collaboration takes a unique angle by demonstrating how Triall's Verifiable Proof API can be applied to build immutable blockchain-registered audit trails as a new best practice for bolstering end-to-end clinical data integrity. This endeavour provides a platform for further collaboration between MayoClinic and Triall towards a proof-based environment for decentralised clinical research and strengthens both parties’ positions as thought leaders in clinical trial innovation.

"We are very excited to further our collaboration with Mayo Clinic and the team of Dr. Chris McLeod. It is wonderful to work with some of the thought leaders within Mayo Clinic and we are confident our collaboration will pave the way towards further innovation and enhanced quality in clinical development, utilising the strengths of blockchain technology where these truly add value.'' - Hadil Es-Sbai, Co-founder and CEO at Triall.

With a 73,000-person workforce, Mayo Clinic cares for 1.4M+ people and initiates 1000+ new clinical trials each year. Triall is proud to now be a qualified software vendor after passing all of Mayo Clinic’s vendor qualifications procedures.
